RF-N engine

Since diesel engines do not have an ignition system, a special tachometer is required. It is expensive, so purchasing it is not worth it.
1. Warm up the engine to operating temperature, engine temperature not less than +80°C.
2. Turn off electricity consumers (radio receiver, light).
3. Measure the idle speed. Required values:
- RF: 825±5 rpm.
- RF-N: 725±25 rpm.
4. If the idle speed differs from the required one, loosen the lock nut and turn the idle speed adjustment screw to adjust the speed. After adjustment, lock the screw.
Caution! If you are unable to adjust the idle speed to the desired level, visit a MAZDA or BOSCH service station.
