Valve check
Connect the valve in the dismantled state to a 12 V voltage source (positive wire (+) to connector and ground wire (-) to valve body). The rod must retract into the housing. If not, replace the valve.
The solenoid valve on the high pressure fuel pump opens the flow when the ignition is switched on. It should be checked if the engine does not start or continues to run after the ignition is turned off.
Turn the ignition on and off. You should hear a click from the solenoid valve.
If the solenoid valve does not work, check with a voltmeter whether voltage is applied when the ignition is turned on. If there is no voltage, find the breakage of the drive according to the electrical diagram and eliminate the defects.
If no defect is found, remove the actuator and turn the valve out.
Install a new valve with gasket and tighten to 25 Nm. Connect the wire to the valve.
