Prepare a tray to collect the oil, rags, newspapers and wrenches.

Place a container to collect the oil under the drain plug in the manual transmission pan. Remove the drain plug (figure 2.18).
After draining the oil, screw the plug back in and tighten it securely.
Remove the speedometer drive mechanism. Using a hand pump, syringe or
use a funnel to fill the gearbox with the recommended type of oil. Replace the speedometer drive mechanism and securely fasten it with the bolt.
Lower the car.
