To replace the working fluid in an automatic transmission, you must use the following equipment and materials:
- car support stands;
- 4-liter container for collecting old working fluid;
- a wrench for loosening and tightening the drain plug.
Raise the car and secure it on stands.
Place a container to collect the old working fluid under the gearbox and unscrew the drain plug.
Make sure the liquid collection container is installed securely as the liquid will come out under pressure.
After draining the fluid, clean the plug, screw it back in and tighten it securely.
Lower the car.
Open the hood and remove the transmission fluid level indicator (dipstick).
Pour the amount of fluid of the appropriate type specified in the technical data into the automatic transmission filler tube through a funnel and wait until the fluid drains into the pan. Add liquid in small portions, constantly checking its level. Take precautions to prevent dirt and foreign objects from entering the gearbox.

Place the selector lever in the "park" position, apply the parking brake and start the engine without pressing the accelerator pedal. Do not increase engine speed.
With the engine idling, check the fluid level, which should be below the "F" mark on the level gauge. If the fluid level exceeds this mark, drain the excess fluid.
