Turn the ignition on and off, you should hear the solenoid valve click into action. If the solenoid valve does not operate, use a voltmeter to check whether voltage is supplied to the valve coil when the ignition is turned on. If there is no voltage, use the electrical diagram to determine the location of the drive break and fix the problem.
If no fault is found, disconnect the wire and unscrew the valve.

Connect the removed valve to a 12V power source: the positive wire ("+") to the valve connector, the ground wire ("–") to the valve body, while the valve stem should be pulled into the valve (figure 4.23). Otherwise, replace the valve.

Screw in the new valve with the gasket and tighten it to 25 Nm.
Connect the wire to the valve.
