The air filter supplies filtered air to the throttle body.
The air flow meter measures the amount of air entering the fuel system and sends corresponding signals to the fuel injection system control unit.
The throttle body regulates the amount of air allowed in. The throttle position sensor and idle speed switch are installed in the same housing. The operation of the system must not be interfered with except for the following purposes.
6.1.1 Removing and installing the air filter
Removal and installation of the air filter can be carried out using Figure 140. To replace the filter insert, you need to unscrew the cover and remove the insert. The filter insert must not be blown out with compressed air. If it is clogged, it needs to be replaced.

6.1.2 Adjusting and installing the throttle cable
The cable should have 1-3 mm of play. It is held in place by two nuts on the support, which also serves as an adjustment. Press the accelerator pedal to the floor and check that the throttle valve is open (the large air hose must be disconnected). If necessary, adjust the adjusting bolts near the accelerator pedal.
