Examination

1. The throttle position sensor (arrow) is located on the throttle body. Disconnect the sensor connector and check that with the ignition on, the voltage between the REF (+) and GND (-) terminals is approximately 5.0 volts.
2. Check the sensor signal voltage between the SIG (+) and GND (-) terminals. When the throttle is fully closed, the voltage should be 0.5–1.0 volts. When the throttle is fully open, the voltage should rise to 3.5–5.0 volts.
Adjustment

(Text taken from an online platform www.MazBook.ru)
Loosen the sensor mounting screws (arrows) and rotate the sensor so that when the throttle valve is fully closed, the sensor signal voltage is 0.5–1.0 Volts.
Replacement
1. On 1993 models with a four-cylinder engine, the sensor is not replaceable.
2. On all other models, disconnect the sensor connection connector, unscrew the mounting screws and remove the sensor.
3. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
