The air conditioner can operate in automatic and manual control modes. In automatic mode, you just need to set the desired air temperature in the cabin and the system will maintain it. Most people feel most comfortable at a temperature of 21°C, although, of course, this temperature is individual for each person.

In manual mode, you can adjust one or more parameters of the atmosphere in the cabin as desired. At the same time, the remaining parameters continue to be controlled automatically.

In the center of the air conditioner control panel there is a display that shows the selected operating modes of the system and its parameters.

Note: On US-made or US-market models, the air temperature may be displayed in degrees Fahrenheit.

When the air conditioner is running, water vapor condenses from the air, which can lead to the formation of a puddle under the car when parked. This is not a sign of a malfunction.

Setting the temperature

The desired air temperature is adjusted by pressing the upper or lower protrusion of key 4. The temperature value can be monitored on the display of the air conditioner control panel.

"Climate control" program

After pressing the AUTO button, the system switches to the automatic mode of maintaining the given air parameters in the cabin: temperature, flow rate and air distribution in the cabin.

Turning the air conditioner on and off

To turn on the air conditioner, press the A/C button. The A/C symbol will appear on the display.

To turn off the air conditioner, press the same button again.

Air distribution in the cabin

Pressing the MODE button repeatedly allows you to direct the air flow:
  • to the windshield;
  • to the windshield and feet of the driver and passengers:
  • at the feet of the driver and passengers;
  • to the central and side ventilation grilles and to the feet of the driver and passengers;
  • to the central and side ventilation grilles.

Cabin air recirculation control

When button 3 is pressed, the flow of outside air into the cabin stops and recirculation of the air inside the cabin begins. This mode isolates the interior from the outside air, allowing you to get rid of external dust or unpleasant odors.

However, it is not recommended to use the recirculation mode for a long time and, as soon as possible, you should return to the normal operation of the system with an influx of outside air.

Shutting down the system

To turn off automatic mode, press the OFF button.

Rear window defroster

The rear window and outside rearview mirror heaters are switched on with one button 5 and operate only when the engine is running. After a certain period of time, which depends on the outside air temperature, the electric heaters turn off. Pressing key 5 again turns the heaters on for a few more minutes.

The heaters can be turned off earlier by pressing the button again.
