Removing
1. Disconnect the wire from the negative battery terminal.
Caution: If your car radio is equipped with an anti-theft device, make sure you have the unlock code before removing the battery.
2. Raise the vehicle and place it on stands.
3. Disconnect from the executive cylinder the forcing pipeline. Before disconnecting the pipeline, prepare a small plug and a rag to remove spilled brake fluid. Plug the end of the pipeline to prevent leakage of brake fluid and dirt from entering the hydraulic system.
4. Turn out bolts of fastening of the working cylinder.
5. Remove the working cylinder.
Installation
6. Place a small amount of multipurpose grease in the groove of the clutch lever. Establish the working cylinder and screw by hand bolts of its fastening (do not screw the bolts all the way until the piping is connected). Make sure that the cylinder push rod is engaged in the recess of the clutch lever.
7. Connect the delivery pipeline to the executive cylinder and hand-tighten the nuts of its fastening.
8. Tighten the cylinder mounting bolts to the required torque.
9. Tighten the piping nut securely.
10. Check the level in the brake system bank and add DOT 3 brake fluid to it to the required level.
11. Bleed the system (see paragraph 5) and check the brake fluid level in the reservoir again.
12. Lower the vehicle to the ground and connect the battery.
