The system ensures the constancy of the set speed (over 40 km/h), if the engine can provide it, and frees the driver from the need to press the accelerator pedal.

To turn on, press the button "CRUISE MAIN" on the dashboard. To turn off, press the button again.

Caution! Cruise control should not be engaged in heavy traffic or adverse road conditions (icy or wet road, gravel surface).

Setting the required vehicle speed

1. Increase the speed of the vehicle until the required speed is reached (at least 40 km/h).

2. Briefly press the "SET" button on the end of the windshield wiper and washer switch (figure 1.15). Do not hold the button down.

3. Release the accelerator pedal. The set speed will be automatically maintained constant.

Increase in movement speed

1. Press the "SET" button and hold it down – the vehicle speed will increase evenly.

2. When the desired speed is reached, release the button.

Decrease in speed of movement

1. Turn the button to the left to the "COAST" position and hold the button down "COAST-RESUME" on the windshield wiper and washer switch (figure 1.16) – the speed will gradually decrease.

2. When the desired speed is reached, release the button. After this, the newly set speed value will be maintained at a constant level.

Shutdown

1. Press the button "CRUISE MAIN", to turn off the cruise control device.

2. Lightly press the brake pedal or clutch pedal (if the car is equipped with a manual transmission).

Article is available on the website www.mazbook.ru

3. Install the selector lever (if the car is equipped with an automatic transmission) to position "N".

4. The cruise control device will automatically switch off if the speed decreases approximately 15 km/h below the set speed.

Reactivation at speeds over 40 km/h

To return to the last set speed, turn the button "COAST-RESUME" to the right to the "RESUME" position and release it. The car will automatically begin to accelerate until the previously set speed is reached. At a speed less than

40 km/h The cruise control system will remain off until the vehicle again reaches a speed of over 40 km/h. In this case, turn the button "COAST-RESUME" right again and release it. The car will automatically begin to accelerate until the previously set speed is reached and will maintain this speed continuously.
