Removal
Remove the front timing belt cover, timing belt and driven pulley.

Remove the cylinder head cover (figure 3.6).
Remove the air supply tubes.
Remove the ignition distributor and rear cover.
Loosen the front cover mounting bolts, carefully separate it from the engine and remove it.
Remove the shaft assembly with the rocker arms.
Remove the fuel pump and take the camshaft out of the cylinder head.
Installation

Lubricate the camshaft journals and install the shaft so that the pulley dowel pin is at the top (figure 3.7).
Install the shaft assembly with rocker arms.
Install the front cover, replacing the gasket with a new one.
Install the timing belt pulley, making sure that the marks on the front cover and on the pulley are aligned.
Install the back cover (replace the gasket with a new one) and ignition distributor.
Install the fuel pump, air supply pipes, camshaft cover, timing belt and timing belt cover.
If a new camshaft has been installed, it is necessary to perform running-in operations, following the manufacturer's engine running-in instructions.
