- Clamp the cylinder head in a vice together with the clamp, which is attached using the intake manifold studs.
- The tool designed for removing and installing valves is shown in the figure 41 and is installed on the cylinder head as shown in this figure. Tighten the tool handle until the spring is compressed so that the valve crackers can be removed. To remove the valves, you can use a piece of pipe that fits onto the upper plate of the spring. The valve plate on the other side is pressed well. Lightly hit the pipe with a hammer like this. so that the valve crackers can fall out. They fall inside the pipe. The pipe must be pressed firmly against the spring plate so that the crackers do not get lost.

- Remove the spring plates and springs. Pull out (using tongs) valve sealing rings and discard immediately as they must be replaced. All parts of each valve must be collected in one place. Insert the valves into the bottom of the inverted cardboard box and write their numbers as shown in the picture figure 21
