2. On models with rear drum brakes, remove the pads (see paragraph 6) and disconnect the cable horses from the rear block (see fig. 6.2, to). Using a pair of pliers, squeeze the cable clamps and pull it through the back shield (pic. 14.2). An alternative way is to put a clamping wrench of a suitable size on the latches.
Note. If Ves does not have such a key, you can use small hose clamps. Slide the clamp over the retainers, tighten it, then push the cable through the rear shield and remove the clamp. The procedure for disconnecting the parking brake cable is illustrated rice. 6.4, to.
3. For models with disc type rear brakes, the procedure for disconnecting the cable from the caliper is illustrated rice. 3.7, a-c.
4. Disconnect the front end of the cable from the rocker, then squeeze the clamps and thread the cable through the bracket (pic. 14.4).
5. Turn out bolts of collars of fastening of a cable to a body, having remembered their arrangement, then remove a cable from the car (pic. 14.5). It may be necessary to collapse the muffler pipe thermal protection cover to facilitate cable collapse.
6. If both cables are being removed, repeat this procedure for the remaining cable.
7. Installation of a cable is made in sequence, return to removal. After installing the cable (cables), adjust them (see paragraph 13).
