1. Before you begin assembling the engine, make sure you have all spare parts, gaskets and seals to be replaced, as well as the following tools and materials.
  • Standard set of hand tools
  • Torque wrench
  • Piston ring installation tool
  • Ring compression device
  • Pieces of plastic tubing for connecting rod lower end studs "Plastic feeler gauge"
  • Set of flat feeler gauges
  • Fine-cut file
  • Fresh engine oil
  • Molybdenum or special grease for engine assembly
  • Gasket sealant
  • Thread sealant

2. To save time and avoid problems, the following engine assembly order is recommended:
