2. Using the air pressure from the tire inflator and hydraulic hose, push the piston out of the caliper bore.
3. Remove the bracket and dust seal from the piston.
4. Remove the piston seal from the caliper bore.
5. Using pliers, remove the retaining ring from the base of the caliper.

6. Remove the parking brake self-adjusting axle, O-ring, stopper and link.
7. Remove dust seals and drive pin covers.
8. Turn off a casing of a cable of a lay brake, support a suspension bracket.
9. Disconnect the return spring and remove the spindle arm, followed by the seal.
10. If necessary, unscrew and remove the bleed screw.
11. Clean all parts and examine them for wear and damage. Carefully inspect the piston and bore surfaces for wear, and check the needle bearing for the governor shaft.
12. Get a seal repair kit along with other required parts. You will also need special red, white, and orange grease. Red grease for the piston seal, white grease for the governor axle O-ring, and orange grease for the dust seals, needle bearings, axle and guide pins.
13. Assembly is in reverse order, but make sure that the stopper pins fall into the holes in the caliper body.
