To avoid damaging the underside of the vehicle. the car jack should only be installed in certain places.

At the front of the vehicle, the jack can only be placed under the crossmember below the front suspension, as shown in the figure 3. In doing so, you need to be careful not to dent the engine compartment shield. When lifting the vehicle, depending on the circumstances, place the jack under the middle of the lower crossmember, as shown in the figure 4 in the two-wheel control model. For car owners with 4-wheel steering, the jack is placed under the place of the crossmember, which is shown in the picture 5 is shown in a circle.

If only one side of the vehicle needs to be raised, the jack is positioned under the mounting location on the underside of the vehicle.

Under no circumstances should a jack be placed under the oil tank, transmission, etc. d, if it is necessary to lift the car. This can cause serious damage.

Before jacking up the rear of the vehicle, engage reverse gear if the transmission is manual or shift the automatic transmission control lever to the stop position to prevent the vehicle from rolling off the jack stand.

When raising the front of the car, you must apply the handbrake.

It is important to ensure that the ground on which the vehicle is to be lifted is not too light, so that the jack or stand does not sink into the ground.

The support trestles can be installed from the body side as shown in the figure 6 and 7. This does not damage the car's varnish.
