Attention! Close the hole in the gearbox housing every time you remove the drive shaft. With the drive shaft and countershaft removed, be careful not to move the differential side gear splines. Insert a wooden plug or similar plug to hold the differential side gears in place.
With a screwdriver inserted through the caliper, block the brake disc from turning and unscrew the hub nut. This nut is very tight. When installing, a new nut must be used.
Remove the inner end of the right drive shaft from the intermediate shaft, for which insert a mounting blade between the intermediate shaft support and the inner CV joint housing. Remove the drive shaft with light blows on the mounting blade.

Turn out bolts, disconnect an intermediate shaft from a transmission and remove it from the car (pic. 9.33).
For dismantling the intermediate shaft and replacing the bearing, tools for pressing out are required, entrust this work to the specialists of an equipped car repair shop.
