- Never disconnect the battery or voltage regulator while the engine, and therefore the generator, is running.
- Never allow the excitation terminals to touch each other (pole terminals) generator or a cable attached to them with a housing.
- Never swap the two wires of the voltage regulator relay.
- Never turn on the regulator if it is connected to the housing (immediate damage).
- Never remove a brushless alternator unless the battery has been disconnected from the circuit first.
- When installing the battery, ensure that the negative terminal is shorted to the body.
- Never use a test lamp that is directly connected to the main network (110 or 220 V). Use only a lamp with a voltage of 12 V.
- If the battery is being charged by a charging device while it is installed, both of its wires must be disconnected. Connect the positive terminal of the charger to the positive pole of the battery and the negative terminal of the charger to the negative pole.
- Incorrect connection of wires leads to destruction of the rectifier and voltage regulator.
Note: In cold weather, do not leave the battery uncharged, as it will freeze. A weakly charged battery freezes sooner than a charged one.
