1. To perform this work, you must remove the transmission (see chapter 7).
2. Remove the flywheel (faceplate) (see paragraph 14).
3 The old cuff can be pulled out. picking it up with a screwdriver, or in place with the body. The latter method is preferred. because it reduces the risk of damaging the surface of the crankshaft under the cuff.
4. Turn out bolts of fastening of the case of a cuff. Keep in mind that two bolts must be unscrewed from below, from the side of the cylinder block amplifier.
5. Remove the body and place it on two pieces of wood. Note how recessed the old cuff is into the body, then knock it out of the body with a hammer through the beard (pic. 15.5).
6. Wash the inside of the housing with nitro paint thinner. Lay the housing on a sturdy, flat surface and hammer in a new cuff with a hammer through a block of wood (fig 15.6).
7. Install the housing with the collar instead with a new gasket. If the gasket is not provided by the design, apply a bead of sealant to the surface of the housing mating with the block. Before installation grease a working edge of a cuff with pure engine oil. Screw in and gradually tighten the body mounting bolts until the required torque is reached.
