2. Remove the rear hub with bearing (see paragraph 11).
3. On models with rear drum brakes, release the brake line from the clamps that secure it to the stand (see chapter 9). Disconnect the parking brake cable from the lever and from the rear shield (see chapter 9).
Note: It is not necessary to remove the brake pads for this procedure.
4. Remove the four bolts and the rear shield from the hub support (see chapter 9). On models with rear drum brakes, lift the rear shield with the pads above the support and tie it with wire to the spring of the rack.
Warning. Do not disconnect the brake hose from the wheel cylinder and be careful not to damage it.
5. On models with anti-lock braking system, remove the wheel speed sensor.
6. Loosen the nuts securing the strut to the hub support, then disconnect the suspension arms from the support (figure 10.6).

7. Unscrew the nuts securing the strut to the hub and knock out the bolts with a hammer. Remove the hub support.
8. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. Tighten the rear shield and control arms to the specified torque values. If the vehicle is equipped with rear disc brakes, tighten the caliper and bracket mounting bolts to the specified torque values (see Technical data at the beginning of Chapter 9). If you have not disconnected the brake system line. it doesn't need to be pumped.

9. Put on the wheels and put back the nuts that secure them. Lower the vehicle and tighten the wheel nuts to the specified torque (see Technical data at the beginning of Chapter 1).
